Fredericksburg, VA - July 25, 2007 - Internet Measurement Leader, comScore Media Metrix released its monthly analysis last week, ranking Job.com sixth out of the top 10 gaining properties on the Internet in June. The rankings, which were reported on CNNMoney.com, are based by measuring the percentage change in unique visitors from May 2007 to June 2007.
"We've teamed up with industry powerhouses like global compensation leader, Payscale.com and job search engine, Indeed.com, to reintroduce Job.com as a one-stop Career Portal, for job searching and career management information and recruiting and hiring," said Brian Alden, President and CEO of Job.com. "The vast variety of upgrades and features added to Job.com throughout the course of the year have played a huge role in attracting a truly, unique job searching demographic."
Averaging over 4.5 million unique visitors each month, Job.com's recruiters and employers have the ability to connect with a diverse member base, exclusive to Job.com. In fact, over 60 percent of Job.com's job seekers cannot be found searching for jobs on its major competitors' sites.
"By creating the one-stop career portal concept, more job seekers are turning to Job.com for all their career-related needs, while our employers and recruiters benefit by exposing their jobs to a wider array of candidates," continued Alden.
Similarly, Professionals tend to experience a higher level of confidence in finding a job they will truly love during a healthy job market. As the unemployment rate remains at a stable 4.5 percent, career changers are considering an alternative to their current roles at work. With the exceptional condition of the job market, and over one million jobs to search on its site, Job.com's traffic shows no sign of slowing down over the summer months.
