Job.com Continues Mission to "Put Virginia Back to Work" through Local Events
June 05, 2012
Fredericksburg, VA -- June 5, 2012 -- The concert season has kicked off at the Job.com Pavilion and the Job.com team has been gearing up for a busy summer. In their third season as the official venue sponsor, Job.com is setting out to spread goodwill and cheer to concert goers while educating them about the value of their online services. In an effort to help put Virginia back to work, Job.com is using the Job.com Pavilion as a venue to network with potential business prospects and connect with local job seekers who are interested in learning more about finding a job in today's unstable job market.
"We're excited to have the opportunity to drive awareness of our mission to put Virginia back to work," said Brian Alden, CEO of Job.com. "The [Job.com] Pavilion is a great place for us to interact with members of the community on an entirely new level." Alden continued, "While we spend a lot of time focusing on our presence online, we also want to create growth in our area by helping our local candidates find jobs, with some of the great companies located in our area."
With products and services for both employers and job seekers, Job.com is leveraging the Pavilion for promotions and giveaways throughout the summer season. From increased user engagement on the company's facebook pages to newly formed partnerships with businesses looking to hire, the Job.com team has found a variety of ways to take advantage of all the opportunities available with this sponsorship.
Additionally, Job.com will be recruiting for internal positions to help expand the company even more. With openings in sales, business development, graphic design and web development, scouting talent is another priority on the weekly concert agenda.
Furthermore, Job.com has chosen the local Special Olympics Virginia program as its charity for 2012. At a select number of concerts throughout the summer, the Job.com Team will be operating a prize wheel chock full of appealing giveaways including free Celebrate Virginia Live concert tickets, Job.com blankets, and T-shirts. All donations collected at the Job.com booth will benefit the local Area 11 Special Olympics programs and athletes.
